How I work
CLAY THERAPY
The therapeutic process impacts the way we relate to ourselves and others. Positive interactions reward and help us to regulate our nervous system which has the effect of regulating our emotional well-being.
SANDPLAY THERAPY
Sandplay Therapy has the ability to offer a safe, and enjoyable way to access the unconscious, the place in our psyche where trauma is held. It involves the body and can be used with people of any age. For those who have experienced trauma, attachment to others may trigger a sense of vulnerability and discomfort, in turn preventing healthy connections. Through the therapeutic process, we are able to not only heal these parts of ourselves but also form healthy and safe relationships. It is also my goal in this work to build resilience within each client.
PESSO BOYDEN SYSTEM OF PSYCHOTHERAPY (PBSP)
The goal of a PBSP structure is to create new pathways that heal one’s unmet childhood developmental needs. This is based on the Pesso Boyden System of Psychotherapy (PBSP).
My work as a psychotherapist comes from curiosity; a long interest in people and a desire to support others to find better emotional health and wellbeing. I am passionate about the therapeutic process and how it can bring about healing and transformation using PBSP.
WATERCOLOUR
My focus is to create a safe, supportive environment for self-discovery and to provide the understanding and resources you as my client needs to overcome your difficulties. I believe that people can heal and flourish best when they are heard with understanding, empathy, and compassion.
